A career public servant, now working for you
Born and raised in Chicago, Joe Tracy has called Palatine home since 1992. He and his wife raised their four children here, all of whom graduated from local District 15 and District 211 schools.
Joe's career spans more than four decades across the private, non-profit, and government sectors, from Jewel Foods to an assistant administrator role in adult health services and thirty years with the State of Illinois. He saw firsthand where government works and where it wastes, and now that he is retired he is running to bring common-sense accountability back to Springfield.
Where Joe StandsFighting for the families of the northwest suburbs.
The Vision:
A more affordable, accountable Illinois where families can build a future.
The Mission:
Common-sense representation for District 54: lower the tax burden, keep our communities safe, and defend local control.
Priorities for District 54
Fiscal Responsibility
Illinois families work hard for their money and deserve a better return on it. The answer is not asking families to pay more; it is smarter spending, real efficiency, and accountability for every dollar Springfield takes.
Public Safety
Safe neighborhoods are the foundation of a thriving community. Joe stands with our first responders and law enforcement and will work to keep District 54 families secure.
Local Control
Decisions about our neighborhoods, schools, and zoning belong to the people who live here, not to mandates from Springfield. Joe will defend our communities' right to govern themselves.
